Giants Windows was founded by Katja Paweletz and Franz Adebahr in 2007.
Franz Adebahr arrived in Portugal in 1999, to work for the first PVC manufacturer in the Algarve. Franz completed his window technician qualification 36 years ago, in the ‘old days’ when PVC was still in its earliest and more challenging stages.
In 2009 Giants Windows received a licence from the German company Sunflex to manufacture Sunflex systems.
Furthermore, they sell PVC windows and doors, security front doors, glass balustrades, glass and polycarbonate roofs, insect protection, roller shutters, aluminium shutters.
And small repair jobs are never too small for Giants Windows.
The company maintains or repairs other glass systems, even when they have not been fitted by them.
Customers are always welcome to visit the showroom in Santa Bárbara de Nexe, which showcases the full range of the company’s quality PVC products and systems, and is only 5 mins away from the future IKEA complex.
SF 20 is an all glass sliding system, SF 25 is a glass folding system. Giants windows completed in Spring time at the Rocha Baixinha Beach Between Vilamoura and Albufeira Falesia beach a combination of both those systems.
The most complicated project in the company history was completed this August. A curved folding system called SF 35 with aluminium profiles and double glazing. Giants windows is the only company in the Algarve manufacturing that system.
