NEW Japanese fine dining Mizu Restaurant at VILA VITA ParcThe Algarve welcomes the first Japanese fine dining concept with Robata grill, at VILA VITA Parc’s new Mizu Restaurant.

The new Japanese restaurant Mizu at VILA VITA Parc Resort & Spa, in Porches, Algarve, will be officially opening its doors on 23 February. With a Zen and relaxed atmosphere, a decoration inspired by Japanese culture and tradition mixed with a sophisticated and modern style, high quality ingredients, innovative culinary techniques and a privileged view over the Atlantic Ocean, Mizu intends to establish itself as one of the finest Japanese restaurants in Portugal.

NEW Japanese fine dining Mizu Restaurant at VILA VITA ParcThe best of Japanese gastronomy can be experienced here in two completely distinct ways. For those looking for a more intimate and interactive experience, Mizu’s Teppanyaki, with a capacity of up to 10 people and a set menu composed of 6 different courses, allows for a direct contact with the Chef’s skills. With a vaster choice, the à la carte menu offers a selection of exceptional dishes such as the Alaska Black Cod with Miso Saikyo or the Scallop Skewers with Yuzu Kosho, made in the Algarve’s first Robata Grill operating on white Japanese Binchontan charcoal, allowing for healthier and cleaner cooking without smoke emission and deeper flavours. The menu showcases the freshest ingredients amongst which a selection of local catch of the day, such as wild Grouper, Golden Bream, Horse Mackerel, Sea Bream and Flounder.

Dishes such as Hirame no Usuzukuri (a rare Flounder carpaccio with citric Ponzu sauce), desserts such as Coconut Namelaka with Yuzu Gel and Basil and Calpis Sorbet, and a homemade Wasabi grated on shark skin at the table, are some of the highlights that won’t leave anyone indifferent. The dishes are brought to the table in a functional and organized way and the menu is varied enough to fit every kind of taste and palate.
The amazing food menu is accompanied by an exceptional selection of beverages with more than 20 different types of Premium and Super Premium Japanese Sakés, whether enjoyed as sparkling, sweet, cold or warm.

Mizu restaurant has capacity for up to 70 person and is open from Thursday to Monday from 7pm to 10pm.
