The St Patrick's Society's annual putting competition on Friday, 17 February, was a tremendous success with 46 people participating. The event was held at Balaia Golf Club and was followed by a delicious carvers lunch which everyone enjoyed.
The sun shone all day and helped to create a fun atmosphere with lots of laughter. The Cafolla Trophy, modelled on The Open claret jug was won by Neil Rodgers, Vice-Chairman of the Society, with Sean Walkin and Peter Wilson hot on his heels.
The Lady's Competition was won by Maureen Wood with Canadian Visitor Mary Baglole only one shot behind and Christine Dean in third place.
