NEW Algarve Gallery Of Arts - Opening August 27thJoin us for the opening of the Algarve Gallery Of Arts in Lagos on August 27th at 6pm, with an exhibition named "Dinosaurs never used Microblading and look what happened to them" by João Madureira, João Teixeira and Tiago Cost. The intervention in this space starts from what it was before, two rooms consisting of a an aesthetic salon and a recently transformed art gallery.

This exhibition runs until Sept 24th 2019.

João Madureira (Lisbon, 1994) Lives and studies at the Lisbon Council. Graduated in Sculpture from the Fine Arts College and currently in the Master of Art and Multimedia of the same College.

João Teixeira (Vila Real, 1994) graduated in Sculpture at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon, in 2016, the same institution where he is attending the Master in Multimedia Art.
Between 2010 and 2012 she organized and participated in the exhibition “Ágora” at the Vila Velha Museum in Vila Real. In 2014 participated with the work “30/10/13” and “20/12/13” in the “5th edition of PreReforma” at FBAUL in Lisbon. In 2015, he was part of the work collective “Ceilings in the Mountain” at the Luzlinar Association, Feital. In 2016 she organized and participated in the collective exhibition “() seventy-eight” with the work “Duofold” at gallery 78/80 in Lisbon. In the same year he participated with the work “Prepositive Purpose - variations of the mental path of a sculpture” in the collective exhibition “Escultura IV” in the FBAUL gallery, Lisbon. Participated with the work "Guarita" in the collective exhibition "Fragments (dis) control" in the former post of GNR, NAA festival in Esposende. With the work “+351” he participated in the 14th International Feital Art Symposium. Organized and participated in the exhibition “Goela Aberta” at Goela Association, Ateliês # 7AAA, Lisbon. In 2017, she participated with the work “contra-pon-pon-do, what do you mean?” At the FBAUL Sculpture finalists exhibition 2015/16 “from the convent to the palace”, at the Marquês de Pombal Palace in Oeiras. In the same year, together with Felicia Teixeira and João Brojo, she performed the work “July 22, 2017”, in an artistic residency at the “Encontrarte” Biennial, in Amares. In 2018, it was with the project “UMINUTO”, winner of the contest “Sculpture for the main atrium of the new headquarters of Águas do Norte, S.A.”, in Vila Real. In 2019, he participated with the work “UMINUTO TWO” in the exhibition “The path that runs through silence.” Curated by Manuel Santos Maia and João Terras, at Espaço Mira, Porto.
 
Tiago Costa, 24 years old, born in Oliveira de Azeméis lives, studies and works in Lisbon. He has a degree in Sculpture from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon and is currently a Master student in the Art and Multimedia Course by the same institution.
Participated in some group exhibitions and projects: in 2015, the sculpture exhibition at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon under the FDUL Experience program and was part of the residence “Ceilings in the Mountain” inserted in the project 'The movement of stones', in Serra do Feital, in Guarda. In 2016 the collective exhibition exposição Empirical ’in the Oficinas do
Municipality of Aljustrel and also, in Lisbon, in the collective exhibition ‘() eighty ´ in gallery 78/80
