The initial premise that founded this festival was the goal of offering projects and events showing the bond between Art, Science, and Heritage.

Members of the company are already in rehearsal for their first production of the season; Ladies’ Day by Amanda Whittington. This promises to deliver all the humour of Calendar Girls and The Full Monty, with the charm of Dinner Ladies.

Querença bird watching tour in support of RIAS rescue centre

bonellieagleThe QRER Cooperative, based in Querença, is opening its year of activities with a bird watching tour in and around the natural beauty of the Serra do Caldeirão.

The tour is open to the public and is being arranged by Proactivetur's João Ministro. The group will set off on Saturday, January 26, at 9:00 am from the Largo de Igreja Matriz in the picturesque village of Querença.
