Coal lorry catches fire on the A22

Photo published in Correio da Manhã - COAL LORRY CATCHES FIRE ON THE A22At around at 5:30 am yesterday morning, a truck carrying coal on the A22 in Boliqueime caught fire, with the driver making a lucky escape.

The fire is reported to have broken out in the cabin of the lorry and spread quickly to the cargo. 21 firefighters from Albufeira, Loulé, São Bartolomeu de Messines and Lagoa were at the scene and soon got the fire under control.

The lorry driver escaped unharmed.
