Local Lodgings Association links up with Portuguese counterpart

lettingsThe President of lettings advice specialist NALLE has had a first meeting with the representatives of its Portuguese counterpart, ALEP (www.alep.pt, in Portuguese).

This new association caters to Portuguese nationals who let their properties to tourists.

In contrast, NALLE serves primarily foreigners who engage in activity of Local Lodging. The two associations have agreed to work together and represent the Local Lodging industry to the relevant authorities in a united front.

The presidents of NALLE and ALEP had an initial meeting with the new Minister of Tourism, Ana Mendes Godinho, in December of last year.

She expressed her intention to simplify some of the cumbersome aspects of the system to remove unnecessary obstacles and constraints.
