 It's 9:30 am. Ema Costa, a Junior Seconday School student, is sitting facing her computer about to embark on her daily virtual classroom lesson. Google Classroom had previously notified her of the subject task to be completed, its due date and now - with the completed assignment submitted on the platform - she eagerly awaits the opportunity to participate in a short Zoom webcast lesson where she can ask questions and review her work with her peers and teacher.

Colégio Internacional de VilamouraVilamoura International school opened another exciting academic year. Over 620 students and 100 staff members, can only ensure another successful year is in the making.

On the 12th September, students arrived for their first day. The excitement was palpable and the chatter, contagious. At the end of the day everyone was treated to a session of live music – appropriate for a perfect day. Students, staff and parents sat on the grass listening to soft, soul music. What a way to begin the year!

Colégio Internacional de Vilamoura attains excellent results at IGCSE and A LevelColégio Internacional de Vilamoura/Vilamoura International School (CIV), is once again proud to announce its 100% pass rate for the Cambridge Assessment International Examinations IGCSE and A Level, June 2018 exam series. With 145 entries at IGCSE, 95.2% of the students attained A* - C and the level average was 91% (18.2/20 in the Portuguese Grade system). There were 34 entries at A Level, in which 88.2% of students attained A*-C and the level average is 87% (17.4/20 in the Portuguese Grade system).
