Quite correct SteveB,
The behaviour of Non-Nationals like Jack Reacher toward the people of Portugal and it's environs is deplorable.
His caustic comments appear to be ignored by ADN, and seemingly, it's open season to humiliate and denigrate this country and in some cases, invent stories/comments to produce a bad impression of the country.

Quoting Jack Reacher:
Saying the Portuguses are demented when they get behind a steering wheel is factually correct. Its the way they have been brought up to drive
You wouldn't know a fact if it hit in the face. The only think you do is to criticise people based on nationality and race. Your comments would be blocked on most websites for racial prejudice.

Portuguese way of driving is entirely the reason. Stop blaming the road.
You should think twice before commenting and accuse every Portuguese person of being a bad driver. Unless your intention is to be insulting to Portuguese people.
There is the idiotic way of driving that endangers other road users and the sensible way of driving. The road isn't to blame you're right about that.

Then would you care to explain the crash statistics? Between visitors / tourists (some who drive on the left ) vs the locals or nationals..who is invilolved more? Saying the Portuguses are demented when they get behind a steering wheel is factually correct. Its the way they have been brought up to drive

would be interesting to see how much extra medical care, social costs are for the those who are killed or injured on the 125 compared to the revenue the tolls produce

Just another statistic or will this death lead to any improvement in that stretch of the EN125....Was this man's life so pointless?
