Algarve movie fundraising campaign close to target with just days to go

exposureThey’re at it again and with three days to go, the push is on the reach the Crowdfunding target for a second Algarve film from the same team that brought The Right Juice to the big screen in 2014.  

EXPOSURE, now at the exciting post-production stage, is a story of ‘love, heartache and the fallacy of memory’ exploring the break-up of a relationship from both sides of the women involved.

To get this fims launched the team needs support to reach the Crowdfunding target target with just 3 days to go in of a 30-day campaign.

 

In the last week Algarve support for the film has doubled - up from 6% to 12% of the total number of supporters so far and the team asks supporters to Follow, Share and Make a

Make a pledge if you can at https://www.seedandspark.com/fund/exposure#story  and become  a supporter yourself, with just a few more supporters the film can be launched through indie film distributors Seed&Spark. All donations all bring benefits and the more you donate, the more you receive.

Click onto the website, and you will see the time-clock ticking away the minutes by which Longship Films has to get pledges of USD 9,700 to get ‘taken under’ Seed&Spark’s wing and pushed at major indie film festivals.

EXPOSURE has been filmed in two continents, and involves a team of dedicated movie-makers from the Netherlands, Denmark and the U.S which flew in economy class using their own money .

Thanks for the question about The Right Juice.

The film was purchased by NOS for Portugal and played for five weeks nationally. We don't have their specific sales figures, but were really happy to see it on so many screens. I understand it still plays on TV in Portugal, which is also wonderful to hear.

For critic comments on the film, the best place to point you is IMDB at the link below. I love the fact that 21% of the people gave the movie a 10. 74% gave it a six or above. How IMDB averages this out to be a 6 out of 10 is beyond me. The important thing for me is that when people watch the film they seem happy about the experience.

Yes what happened to the right juice, never seen a critics review or on the cinema screen..what did it take at the box office??
