One of the joys of being in a collective is meeting and working alongside other talented people.
Occasionally, not only do they have an attitude and character that fits the teams objectives, but they can also add a whole new dimension to the diversity and creativity of what is already being presented to their audience.
ARTLINK collective is happy to announce that two such people have decided to become associate artists with them. In doing so it is hoped that their personal dynamics will help them to increase outreach and develop new avenues to present their art work.
The first of these is Sue Duncan, a gifted and qualified textile artist who is producing some genuinely unique work. To quote her own words “My creative journey is entwined with a fascination with design, pattern, and the colours and textures of my surroundings. By developing my own printed and dyed fabrics, I create textile art that blends traditional techniques with contemporary interpretation, often incorporating vintage textiles and intricate embroidery”.
The second person to introduce to you to is Philip Houtekier, a corporate and portrait photographer who focuses on creating personal and commercial portraits along with documenting people at social, cultural and business events. His approach is summarized when he says “When photographing people, I always want to make them feel interesting, special and beautiful. I take time to know them so that I can reveal their real character in the portrait”.
