Albucar is a new car rental business recently opened in Albufeira. The company is owned and run by Alex Oxspring, a new resident in Portugal, formerly from Cheltenham, UK.
The company has its office situated near the Marina de Albufeira and is operating a fleet of Skoda cars.
When asked for the motivation behind the Company, Alex replied, “I just want to provide a trustworthy, reliable service to people who want to rent cars in the Algarve”.
He went on to say, “If I’m on any mission, it is to offer a great service where customers can hire a car without constant fear that they are going to be upsold, or charged for an invented scratch!”
The company is offering an introductory discount and also provides a drop off and collection service from local accommodation. Most the cars are brand new and were delivered in April 2024.
