Amara (Palliative Care Association) is giving training, a cornerstone of the association's activity, focuses primarily on this is a personal development course offering theoretical and practical training in end of life care.
It is conceived for anyone wishing to broaden their personal horizons by exploring the fundamental question of life and death or for people who are confronting these issues, and who are aware of the need to prepare them through introspection and sharing with others.
The course is compulsory for anyone wishing to become a volunteer with AMARA and is particularly suited to health professionals working in palliative care, continuing care or in any area in which they are regularly confronted with death and suffering, where it is essential to avoid burnout and develop a more caring relationship with the patient.
