The ASB November ride from Paderne was through the picturesque valleys and up and over hills above Salir in the central Algarve.
The first stop was for a coffee break in Dogueno after riding the sweeping bends of the N2 from Amexial before heading back into the hills and west to Malhao.
Another short break allowed the group to check out the views from Cafe Miramar in Malhão.
Then on via Monte Ruivo and Santa Margarida for lunch.
Lunch was at Restaurant Estrela do Sul in S.B. Messines
The riders were favoured by fine weather, although a little windy and chilly.
Some extra care was needed in a few places to avoid the grit etc, washed onto the roads after the recent rains in the area.
A great day was enjoyed by all 35 members taking part and riding on some magnificent quiet roads with great views all the way.
The route devised on this occasion by David Shirley and leaders on the day were Roy West, Yves Breyer,and Phill Anderson.

The last event of this year will be the ASB Charity Lunch at Ponte Romana in Silves on December 12th.
