The Duplicate Bridge Club of Lagoa celebrated its' first Anniversary, in style, on 26th November. The Hotel Lagoa staff decorated the room with balloons,and two members brought in delicious home-baked cakes to complement the drinks provided by the Hotel.
A good turn out spent a fun afternoon playing Bridge to different rules, with prizes for the lucky ones.
The Club is open to anyone - there is no joining fee and Bridge is played every Thursday at the Hotel Lagoa on the EN125 in Lagoa, from 1.45pm.
Everyone is very welcoming and friendly and it is a great way to spend an afternoon. Cost is €5.00 including refreshments.
