On April 9th in Alvor, Jack Soifer arranged a new dinner with wine-tasting for 26 business men and women and top professionals from five countries, for charity for Banco Alimentar Algarve.
This time there were 26 people from Brazil, Portugal, South Africa, Germany and Sweden. There were two white wines from Brejinho in Grândola, to harmonise chips, cheese, olives.
They then enjoyed a vegetable risotto and one with tuna fish. Three red wines were served, one from 2018 which matured six months in French oak barrels.
Following dessert with a special sauce they had a sparkling. All wines, except one, from Arvad, came from Brejinho, in Grandola.
Finally two different, special ice-creams, with a sauce that takes four days to mature, and sparkling wine.
The next wine-tasting is on April 29th. For more information, please contact Jack Soifer at jack.soifer@vidaeconomica.pt.
