On Saturday, November 30th, we will be hosting the Organic Grocery Christmas Market at Mercearia Bio Café Lagos, fundraising to support Alice, a 7 year old girl who suffers from Rett Syndrome. This is an event aimed at all families and visitors in general, to celebrate the Christmas season.
There will be artists and artisans who have already exhibited at the store’s exhibition area, and others who will join in for a very special day.
There will be entertainment, food and drinks, which will include wines, mulled wine, Christmas sweets and other snacks and petiscos, in addition to the grocery store, which will be fully operational with seasonal fresh produce and a specific area where there will be suggestions for more sustainable Christmas gifts.
Entrance is free at the Organic Grocery Christmas Market in Rua Victor da Costa e Silva, next to the Mercado de Levante and close to the Lagos bus terminal, open from 10am till 5pm. Come along!
The day will also serve to promote fundraising to support Alice, a 7 year old girl who suffers from Rett Syndrome, a rare neurological disease that affects children's motor and cognitive abilities and which requires intensive and constant treatments and therapies.
