This holiday season, Castelo de Sonhos in Silves has once organised a Shoebox campaign for the elderly, to provide a gift for more than 200 elderly in need, living in the Silves area.
Here's what to do if you would like to donate:
Fill your shoebox with a variety of gifts, for example, warm socks, a knitted hat, a scarf and gloves. Toothbrush & toothpaste, soap, shampoo, hand cream, facecloth, hand towel, a hot water bottle. Cake, biscuits, chocolates, soups + soup mug, canned goods, jams/preserves, a small torch, a notepad and a pen.
Please check edibles are within a reasonable expiry date.
PLEASE TAKE NOTE: No medication or alcohol.
Kindly wrap your gift box and label it for man/woman or couple.
