Staged over three nights at São Brás Museum, ‘Salazar the Musical, the Rise of a Dictator’ raised €625.55 for the registered association ‘Algarve Families in Need’.
The association is a local volunteer-led community group.
A further €820 was raised, to aid the charity supported by Vila Sol Golf Club.
For authenticity actor Jules Tunks, playing the part of Mussolini, was sponsored to have all his hair shaved off. His bald head did much to enhance a comic and at times menacing performance!
