Leme - Perfumes com Estória returns to the Mar d'Estórias with a "caracolada" feast and fado musicIt is precisely on the day when Lisbon and the popular saints are celebrated that the Portuguese brand Leme - Perfumes com Estória returns to the Mar d'Estórias, presenting us with the launch of its latest creation: Lisboa 1497.
Similar to its other creations, the Portuguese brand draws inspiration from fragrances evoking the Age of Discoveries, and Lisboa 1497 is no different.
The fragrance aims to recreate the scent experienced at Vasco da Gama's departure on the morning of June 8, 1497.
Paula Baldaia Gomes, perfumer and founder of I-Sensis Perfume Design, formulated this new fragrance in partnership with the brand's creator, Luís Pereira. It's a scent set to define the summer, with its vibrant citrus top notes of lemon, bergamot, and tangerine, evolving into a floral aquatic heart where linden flower and orange blossom mingle with other aquatic notes of sea and algae. At the base, amber, cedar, and white musk notes sustain the fragrance in memory and heart.
With Lisbon looming over the air of the Mar d'Estórias, a labyrinthine building in the historic centre of Lagos, we've decided to take this celebration to another level. Therefore, we invite you to be part of the presentation of the perfume Lisboa 1497, starting at 3:30 pm in the perfume area. But the celebration doesn't stop there, as it's Saint Anthony's Day, and since the Mar d'Estórias is a typical Portuguese house, the party will continue on our Terrace Bar with a "caracolada" feast and fado music from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm.
