Algarve History Association brings its concert season to a close on Sunday 30th June with our traditional end-of-year Student Concert. This concert is our eighth this season, as well as being coincidentally the eighth annual summer concert given by students from the Conservatório.
We were also fortunate in April to enjoy a chamber music concert given by students supported by members of Orquestra do Sul.
This summer, four pianist students ranging in age from twelve to seventeen will perform works by Bach, Haydn, Beethoven, Chopin, Grieg and Rachmaninov. Followers of our concert series will be aware that It is the objective of the History Association to offer support to the Conservatório in promoting the musical education of young people.
