Algarve artist collective Arte em Movimento have launched a three‑month exhibition, supporting community well‑being, at Casa do Compromisso Marítimo in Ferragudo.
The exhibition will run from 5 January to 31 March 2026, welcoming visitors daily from 11:00h to 19:00h.
Rooted in the belief that art has the power to heal, uplift, and connect, Arte em Movimento brings together Algarve‑based artists who share a commitment not only to creativity but also to community well‑being. The collective collaborates closely with a local non‑profit association whose therapists and holistic professionals provide essential support to individuals facing emotional and mental health challenges. To help sustain this work, the artists donate a percentage of all exhibition sales to the association.
“Our mission goes beyond showcasing art, ” says Andrea Barlow, representative of Arte em Movimento. We believe creativity can open doors to healing. By supporting this exhibition, visitors are also supporting vital community services that make a real difference in people’s lives.”
The exhibition will feature a diverse selection of artworks—including painting, mixed media, and hand-crafted ceramics - highlighting the rich talent and cultural vibrancy of the Algarve.
Visitors will have the opportunity to explore unique artistic perspectives while contributing directly to a meaningful cause.
