Pentecost this year falls on Sunday, 24 May 2026, and Christ the King Anglican Church, Algarve warmly invites you, your family, and your friends to join us in echoing the first Pentecost more than 2,000 years ago.
For the third consecutive year, we will host an open-air, multi-denominational and multilingual service of prayer, music, and worship in the heart of Almancil, at the Jardim das Comunidades. We would be delighted for you to join us as we gather to pray for our towns, our communities, our nations, and our world.

The service will reflect a diversity of Christian traditions, languages, and customs., and has been designed to remind us of the Holy Spirit descending upon the disciples as they waited in the Upper Room. Guests will be invited to pray and sing in their native languages, celebrating the unity and richness of our shared faith.
The worship service will be followed by light refreshments, allowing us to continue our celebration in fellowship. We warmly encourage you to join us.
