When I go on vacation, I immediately think of food and drink. A sunny terrace with a sea view. A simple lunch, a good glass of wine, the sound of the waves in the background. That, for me, is the ultimate holiday feeling. And that's precisely the feeling you get almost automatically in the Algarve.
Anyone who comes to the Algarve naturally comes for the sun, sea, and beaches. But just as important is what's on the menu. From a simple frango piri-piri with fries to fresh fish with a local Algarve wine. And yes, sometimes you just have to try something familiar, like pizza or even McDonald's. Because let's be honest: after three weeks of bacalhau, a little variety is very welcome.
