Feeling adventurous? Read Enjoy the Algarve’s August issue: No fear.
The September 2016 issue of Enjoy the Algarve, No fear, is out now! In it, a whole lot of Algarve-based excitement. From rock climbing to eco carting, there’s a week’s worth of action-packed ideas with activities that might seem scary, but are loads of fun.
This month we’ve tried coasteering (fancy having a go as well? Win tickets in the competition), visited fire juggling artists during their show in the castle of Silves (no worries, the castle is still in perfect condition) and asked skydiver Ian ‘Milko’ Hodgkinson why he likes to jump out of perfectly good airplanes (turns out the view from 4,300m is quite impressive).
Picture perfect photographer Ricardo Alves explains how to take amazing action photos, creative expat couple Alyson and Dave Sheldrake talk about the freedom to discover little countryside lanes and culinary columnist Arthur van Amerongen discusses the dangers and perils of the Algarve. Plus: cute animals, Medronho and five tips on how not to be an idiot in the Algarve.
Happy reading!
