Nature Week is expected to attract hundreds from schools in the region with the event also being publicised outside the region.
The tourist board is bringing in tour operators and journalists to get to know the region, "We will have familiarisation Trips, aimed at specialist operators, which will result in business to business meetings. We also are bringing national and foreign journalists to strengthen the visibility of the Algarve’s out of season offer," explained the vice president of the RTA.
All the activities proposed at Algarve Nature Week will "meet our main markets, but with a different offer."
