Algarve - final result of the local elections

Lagos - Maria Joaquina Baptista Quintans de Matos (PS)

Loulé - Vítor Manuel Gonçalves Aleixo (PS)

Monchique - Rui Miguel da Silva André (PSD)

Olhão - António Pina (PS)

Portimão - Isilda Maria Prazeres dos Santos Varges Gomes (PS)

São Brás de Alportel - Vítor Manuel Martins Guerreiro (PS)

Only 47.6% of those eligible to vote in the Algarve execised their right to do so, marginally down on 2013, leaving the Socialist Party in control of 10 out of 16 councils in the region.
