Road works on the EN125 means that road traffic over the bridge over the Arade river at Portimão will be diverted on 14, 16 and 21 November.
The bridge will be closed to traffic several times a day, but only for brief periods of around ten minutes each.
According to the concessionaire, Rotas do Algarve Litoral, there will be "10-minute traffic breaks, several times a day," over the three days with traffic halted in both directions.
Diversions will be signed on the Lagoa and Portimão sides of the river.
The concession holder helpfully points out that traffic can use the A22 motorway or the old iron bridge at Parchal.
