A driver, taken ill at the wheel, lost control of his car which crashed into an electricity pole in Lagos.
The accident happened near the Intermarché supermarket.
The man was found to be seriously ill and was airlifted to Faro Hospital in an INEM emergency medical service helicopter which collected him at Lagos aerodrome.
The alert was received at 17:07 on Tuesday January 23rd. Nine emergency service vehicles and 23 personnel were involved in his rescue.
