The largest cruise ship in the world will head for Europe for the first time.
Allure of the Seas will have its home port in Barcelona from summer 2015. From there it will sail on week-long cruises around the Mediterranean.
It is designed to carry 6,296 passengers, accompanied by 2,384 members of crew.
Allure is 362 metres in length, just five centimetres longer than its sister ship Oasis of the Seas which will sail around the Mediterranean this summer.
It will be joined in spring 2015 by another mega-ship, Anthem of the Seas, which plans summer cruises to the Mediterranean from its base in Southampton.
Allure of the Seas offers a substantial outdoor park with 22,000 plants and trees, 20 pools, a seaside boardwalk designed like a fairground, and more than 20 places to eat.
Royal Caribbean International own the ships and are offering cruise-only prices beginning at £799 per person.
