EmbassyStockholmPolice in Sweden say have arrested a man his 50s who is suspected of the arson attack on the Portuguese Embassy in Stockholm.

A large fire broke out shortly before noon on Wednesday a building that houses the Portuguese, Argentine, Belgian and Tunisian embassies.

Portugal’s Foreign Minister, Augusto Santos Silva, said that the fire at the embassy in Stockholm was a "criminal act by an unknown man,” adding that this was not a terrorist attack but the actions of an independent and clearly disturbed individual.

Silva explained, "He demanded to speak to the person in charge of the consular section, a request that was satisfied, but even before the conversation started he committed a criminal act in starting a fire, and then fled."
