The parts of Herdade da Comporta to be sold to Paula Amorim and Claude Berda now can be sold.
The purchase deed, amounting to €157.52 million for the 1,000 plus hectares, should be signed in the following few weeks.
The deal has been worked on over the past months, mainly to determine the exact areas that make up only 10% of the total area of the estate.
The process of selling Herdade da Comporta is complex due to the large number of people an businesses involved - 87 participants in the real estate fund that controls the estate - plus the Rio Forte liquidator commission, Novo Banco, members of the Espírito Santo family plus the representatives of the Public Prosecutor's Office and the Central Criminal Investigation Court that had seized Rio Forte’s assets.

Could you please enlighten those of us, who do not know about all of the main players of the Comporta group.
Please don't forget to tell us about the blood relationships, the 1st, 2nd and 3rd cousin links as you seem to have a personal knowledge of these people.
So how many direct and indirect blood relatives - the fathers, wives, sons and daughters, nephews / nieces, 1st, 2nd, 3rd cousins, links by marriage, links by prison cell etc etc ? So the rest of us "unrelated onlookers" can get a small handle on who is who and what is what on just this one property deal.
No, its a general picture of the area.

Does the picture in the report of the beech/island represent the extent of the land for sale.
