The payment of car parking charges by mobile phone can now be made in Lagos, increasing to six the number of cities in Portugal that offer this payment system.
Developed by Portuguese company Maksu Services, the EOS Parking is a system that offers the user the possibility to pay for parking charges via smartphone without using coins or pre-paying.
"With EOS Parking, payment for parking charges has entered a new technological era with a simplified and distinctive service since it is a post- paid system," explained the man in charge Pedro Mendes Leal.
The next cities to receive the EOS Parking are Setúbal, Faro, Beja and Figueira da Foz, in the first half of 2014.
To access EOS Parking, you must download the free App and link it to a credit card.
The system allows drivers to start, continue or stop the parking time registered, paying only for the time used.
