Health officials and local elected officials have also imposed on traders to place “containment lines or, where possible, physical barriers, which allow safeguarding of minimum distances, allowing to oneself maintain social distance and avoid the tendency to touch products and reduce the chance of contamination by contact or by droplets, which is particularly relevant in fish sales stall”'.
The placement of alcohol-gel dispensers for the disinfection of hands at the main entrance and in various places inside the space and the implementation of “a plan for cleaning and sanitizing the space, clearly identifying the frequency of the intervention and who performed it” are also part of the council’s plan for a safe reopening of the space.
Traders should also “install two gel alcohol dispensers, one for their own use and one for customers, use mandatory personal protective equipment, such as a mask and/or visor, and the hand hygiene protocol must be defined during sale and handling of products.”
