The Municipality of Albufeira has started work on the resurfacing of Estrada de Santa Eulália and adjacent streets, a project that involves an investment of more than half a million Euros.
"The contract includes the reformulation of rainwater wastewater networks, public lighting and telecommunications, paving, placement of signs, as well as the creation of accessibility for people with reduced mobility and visual impairment", explains the municipality, with the hope that "the works are concluded in the middle of April".
The Mayor of Albufeira, stresses that despite the difficult times, “Albufeira does not stop and continues to invest in improving the municipality, taking advantage of the general confinement and the consequent constraint to circulation on the public road to proceed with essential works”.
Several works are underway with a view to upgrading roads and paths in several parishes in the municipality. In Santa Eulália, movements are already visible. The contract, with an investment value of more than half a million Euros, started several days ago, and is expected to be completed in April.
In addition to the the main road, the work includes the Santa Eulália alley, the streets surrounding the Zé do Peixe Assado restaurant, the street behind the Tourist Office and the parking lot next to the Intermarche supermarket.
