The suspect is said to have shot three rounds from a firearm, shooting his 41-year-old wife in the head.
As explained by the PJ in a statement, "the crime took place this Monday, around 8:00 pm in the middle of the public road, in the city of Portimão".
The Judiciary Police, in collaboration with the Portimão PSP, arrested the 68-year-old man on suspicion of having committed a felony of attempted qualified homicide.
