The New Year period will be full of much needed Spring-like weather to boost our mood, with clear or slightly cloudy skies and temperatures of around 20 degrees across the country.
According to a forecast by the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and the Atmosphere (IPMA), over the New Year weekend the overnight temperatures should be around 11 degrees, reaching an estimated maximum of 20 degrees in most areas of the Algarve.
