In partnership with the DGS, Portuguese healthcare training and analysis software company UpHill have created an online platform “COVID-19: what now?”, to bring accurate information in Portuguese and English to everyone on what to do in the event of symptoms, a positive test or contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19.
It is a purely informative platform, aiming to simplify access to useful and credible information to clarify doubts about COVID-19. All recommendations published on the platform are entirely based on current guidelines of the World Health Organization, Center for Disease Control and Prevention and the Directorate-General of Health, and these will be updated as and when new standards are introduced.
“COVID-19: what now?”, does not replace medical advice, or provide official documentation or certificates, it is there to provide people with the recommended actions for their particular situation, whether that be symptoms, a positive test or having had contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19. This is done by the patient selecting answer options according to their situation, then being shown the most suitable recommendations for them. It is tool that, in simple language, provides the necessary information for each citizen to understand their particular situation and how to act in conformity. All information is permanently updated in accordance with the guidelines of the Directorate-General of Health.
