Two people were injured this afternoon following yet another collision, this time involving a car and a motorcycle, on the Portimâo 'new bridge' that runs between Portimão and Lagoa.
The authorities received the alert at 18:55 and 12 emergency crews made up of the Volunteer Firefighters of Portimão, the National Institute of Medical Emergency (INEM) and the GNR were dispatched immediately.
After being assisted at the scene, the victims, two men, one aged 46 and the other aged 16, were transported to Hospital do Barlavento, despite very luckily only suffering minor injuries.
While the rescue and cleaning operations of the lane took place, circulation was restricted, leaving only one lane available for motorists.
