Algarve nurses return to the street for another 'Thursday of Indignation'

ALGARVE NURSES RETURN TO THE STREET FOR ANOTHER 'THURSDAY OF INDIGNATION'Nurses in the Algarve will once again hit the streets, asking for support from the population, this week at the Hospital de Portimão.

The nurses are demanding a meeting with the CHUA and ARS administrations, who continue to fail to respond to the various problems, the main ones being pay and the right to career progression.

The nurses trade union Sindicato dos Enfermeiros Portugueses (SEP), warns that the “possibility of a strike is increasingly more real".

After Portimão and Lisbon, in the last two weeks, nurses from the Algarve are back on the streets in yet another “Thursday of indignation”. The campaign has been extended until May 12th - International Nurses Day.
