The UK's Princess Eugenie moves to the Alentejo

THE UK'S PRINCESS EUGENIE MOVES TO THE ALENTEJO - photo by Magg SapoPrincess Eugenie, granddaughter of Britains' Queen Elizabeth, is reportedly now living in Portugal with her husband and their son, August.

Eugenie's husband, Jack Brooksbank, has a new job on a real estate project between Comporta and Melides, just south of the Lisbon area.

Brooksbank works for billionaire Mike Meldrum, owner of the development on the Alentejo coast and friend and partner of actor George Clooney. He is responsible for the marketing and promotion department of the large 300 home exclusive golf resort project, which is currently under construction. “They are very excited,” a source close to the family told the Daily Mirror newspaper.

“Jack will spend some time in Portugal and some in the UK. Eugenie will want to be with him,” says the source. The couple have been married for almost four years, their son is almost 12 months old.

Princess Eugenie is the daughter of Andrew, Duke of York, and Sarah Ferguson. He is the third of four children to Queen Elizabeth II.

Since he was involved in a scandal involving the sexual abuse of minors, Andrew has been away from public eye. He avoided going to court by paying millions of pounds to Virginia Roberts Giuffre, who claimed that she was forced to have sex with the prince when she was 17, as part of the paedophile network of American millionaire Jeffrey Epstein. He was convicted and committed suicide in a New York jail in 2019.

In the UK, Eugenie lives with her husband and son at Frogmore Cottage, in the grounds of Windsor Castle, where the Queen spends most of her time. Andrew and Sarah, who have been divorced for over 20 years, live together nearby.

Eugenie, 32, works at the Hauser & Wirth art gallery and the move to Portugal does not affect this activity, as it is in a hybrid regime.
