New Sudoeste Retail Park opens June 10th

NEW SUDOESTE RETAIL PARK OPENS JUNE 10THClaiming to be "the biggest Retail Park in the Algarve", the new Sudoeste Retail Park in Alcantarilha opens next Saturday, June 10th 2022.

Situated on the exit 7 roundabout of the A22 at Alcantarilha, the new shopping centre will include outlets of Burger King, Seaside, Hôma, Sport Zone, a pharmacy, a fuel station and more. SEE SHOPS HERE.

I went to AKI in Faro today, it closed permanently, the car park outside had no cars in it, the only benefit is the local employment but it takes jobs from other areas, hotels send restaurants are suffering.

Does Algarve really need another shopping centre? The existing ones are half empty most of the time.
