CTT have announced that as of March 1st this year the price of posting letters, editorial mail and parcels will increase by an average 6.24%.
The Portuguese potal service explain that the increase is part of the company's tariff policy and results from the application of the universal postal service price agreement for the period 2023-2027.
The average annual price variation will be 6.24%, with the maximum increase for this year set at 6.58%.
The maximum variation is calculated taking into account the average rate of change in the Consumer Price Index, the variation in traffic over the last 12 months and "other significant changes in context."
In this Thursday's stock exchange session, CTT shares rose 1.86% to 3.56 euros.
