A collision between a heavy goods vehicle and a car caused the death of the car driver this Saturday morning, on the EN125, in Lagos.
The road was closed to traffic for a few hours, while the trapped victim was removed from the vehicle by emergency teams.
A spokesman for the Algarve Regional Civil Protection Command said that “the death was declared on the spot”.
