Loulé GNR arrested a man yesterday, for possession of a prohibited weapon and carrying out burglaries in the area.
The man, aged 26, was in possession of various allegedly stolen items.
The arrest took place as part of a GNR investigation that began about a year ago to identify the perpatrator of thefts in residences in Loulé. During a house search, the police seized a hunting weapon and a bladed weapon - known as a butterfly gun, two doses of hashish, gold and silver wires, quality brand clothing and designer aftershave, a 'tablet' and a video camera.
The man was detained and the case was referred to the Court of Loulé.
