Danish, competitively priced retail chain Normal have announced the opening of three new stores in Portugal, one of which will be located at Aqua Portimão.
The brand's objective is to make the shopping experience different and fun. The maze-like layout of the stores invites customers on a treasure hunt for familiar and yet-to-be-discovered well known products. In addition, around 100 new products hit stores every week.
Normal arrived in Portugal in October 2022, with the opening of the first store in Alegro Sintra, the second in December, in Braga. In March, it continued its expansion, opening a space in Parque Nascente, in Rio Tinto. It was the debut of the brand in the Greater Porto region.
In addition to the new store in Portimão they will open at UBBO, in Amadora and at Palácio do Gelo, in Viseu. These 3 stores all open in the summer, but opening dates have not yet been announced.
Normal sets itself apart from the competition by “offering absolutely normal products at absolutely abnormal prices. Prices are fixed and constant, so customers don't have to constantly look for promotions. In addition, prices are generally lower than the prices charged by competitors", said the brand in a statement.
“We sell make-up, household products, personal care and a wide range of everyday staples that are already familiar from well-known brands such as L'Oréal, Gillette, Colgate and Ajax”, explains Torben Mouritsen, CEO of Normal , in a press release.
Normal aims to be more than a place where branded products are sold at constant low prices.
Normal has a range of products that includes more than 4,000 items within the categories of hair care, skin care, household products, cosmetics, stationery, beverages, among others.
In 2023, the brand's goal is to open 10 new stores in Portugal.
