Investigators widen the search for Maddie after photos come to light

INVESTIGATORS WIDEN THE SEARCH FOR MADDIE AFTER PHOTOS COME TO LIGHTInvestigators are set to widen the search for Madeleine McCann after photos belonging to prime suspect Christian Brueckner revealed ‘clues’ , say UK newspaper 'The Independent'.

After scouring areas of the countryside surrounding the Barragem do Arade reservoir in the Algarve last week, searching for evidence Madeleine McCann and seemingly finding nothing definitve, investigators have referred back to more than 8000 photographs belonging to Brueckner showing other places similar to what he referred to as his “little slice of paradise”, next to the barragem in Silves.

As a result, it is reported that two other areas surrounding Praia da Luz, where Madeleine disappeared in 2007, could be searched by police in the near future.

A source told Uk newspaper The Sun: “German officers have gone through more than 8,000 pictures belonging to Brueckner. That forensic work led them to Barragem - but there are other places that have come up in the pictures too. Detectives are seeking to work out where they are, and why Brueckner was taking pictures of those places.”

I guess only the McCann know the truth (and maybe some of their "tapas" friends) and you can bet they are not necessarily eager to share it with us.

Totally agree with the comments.
This whole case stinks.
Read Tony Bennet, if you can get hold of a copy, The Madeleine McCann Case Files.
Whilst Brueckner might be a very unsavoury character, I feel this is one crime he did not commit, or why have the Germans taken so long not to charge him? No real evidence.

Quoting Chip:
In the UK alone, a person is reported missing every 90 seconds although most are ultimately tracked down, a half within a few days.
Last year 11,608 people were recorded as long-term missing in the UK. In England and Wales, 3,704 children are long-term missing alongside 7,066 adults, as well as two whose ages are unknown.
So why has more than £10 million of UK
taxpayers money aimed at this single case?
And what if she is found after all these years, dead or alive?
There is something very suspicious about this case and the McCann's influence over the UK government. Perhaps they weren't just doctors...

It really smells fishy, it always did, from the very beginning!
