The Judicial Police (PJ) in Albufeira have arrested a man suspected of crimes of aggravated child sexual abuse, aggravated coercion and drug trafficking, in Albufeira.
According to the Judiciary, “the crimes occurred in May of this year, in a family environment, in the Albufeira area, with the victims, under 14 years of age, known to the aggressor”.
The “seriousness of the facts found” led to the issuing of “an arrest warrant for the perpetrator of the crimes, as well as home and non-home search warrants for residences and places associated with the suspect, where evidence of criminal drug trafficking activity was collected”.
The man, aged 36, has a “police record for the same type of crimes” and will be brought before the judicial authority for questioning and application of coercive measures.
