Ryanair has announced that it will start six new routes from Stansted airport for the summer.
One of those routes will be to Ponta Delgada in the Azores.
The other five are Clermont, Cologne, Deauville, Edinburgh and Glasgow.
These new services will take the number of Ryanair routes up to 130 in total, which is more than British Airways offers from Heathrow.
In addition, Michael O’Leary announced that there would be increased frequencies on 40 other routes.
Passenger numbers have been going up nearly every month of 2014 after the carrier began its charm offensive.
In 2014 it launched its “Business Plus” tickets in the hope of distancing itself from its no-frills image.
This year marks Ryanair’s 30th anniversary.
