Nigella Lawson is to begin a new TV series based on her new cookery book featuring recipes to de-stress.
It will be her first show since Nigellissima in 2012 following her high-profile divorce. Now with a new kitchen to inspire her, the BBC Two series will focus on light recipes with a “balance between lightness and lushness”.
Nigella Lawson said: “It’s about food that makes our life easier, that makes us feel better, more alive and less stressed.”
Viewers will be able to see the preparation of “healthy everyday breakfasts and substantial weekend brunches” as well as “quick-to-make, lighter suppers that de-stress” not to mention “bowl food that comforts”.
She said: "I honestly believe I'm at my happiest when I'm eating food out if a bowl with a spoon. No cutting needed.
"For me that sums up so much, comfort food doesn't have to be heavy, sometimes you do want something luscious and light."
